TEST RUGBY: Pacific Nations Cup Begins

This year the tournament is again being held in one location, Apia Samoa. Today's Fiji v Japan is in Lautoka, Fiji, but then all teams meet in Apia. For the first time Australia and New Zealand is not represented, which is a great shame. Both these Pacific nations have used the tournament to blood up-and-coming players as they sent their 'A' teams or NZ Maoris. The reasons given are the world economic situation and the Rugby World Cup next year. I'm not convinced! These two Pacific super powers should be doing more to help the development of the game in the Pacific. Being a Kiwi living in Australia I'm okay to bag both these nations. What do you think?
