BRITISH AND IRISH LIONS v BARBARIANS (UK) RFC

01.06.2013

Venue: Hong Kong Stadium, Hong Kong

Referee: Steve Walsh (Australia)

Preview
The much awaiting British and Irish Lions tour to Australia kicks off in Hong Kong with a non-test match against the UK Barbarians RFC.

Injuries and players still playing for domestic clubs in UK has forced Gatland to play some talent that might otherwise be regarded as the ‘B’ team. So the opportunities are there for fringe players to shine.

Prediction: Lions by 8 points
